VLSI Research Inc is a full service market research house serving both the semiconductor industry and its equipment and materials suppliers. We therefore gather and disseminate data. First and foremost however, please be assured that the online data collected by us is dominantly about industries and companies. Information collected online about individuals only pertains to address and purchasing, or for servicing customer and prospect accounts. What non-personal Information we collect online from time-to-time
Non-personal information collected on-line is limited to responses from pre-formatted e-mail surveys pertaining to industrial market research. In all cases the reader is informed before hand that a survey is being performed and has the option to accept or decline. These are technological and marketing data surveys about events within the industry together with opinion surveys about the industry’s future.

VLSI Research does not share the personal information it collects online

The VLSI Research website supports up to 128-bit encryption. Encryption is the process of converting information into a more secure format for transmission. In other words, the plain text is converted to scrambled code while being transmitted, and then decrypted back to plain text at the receiving end of the transmission

All data collected online is stored within the United States.

Children’s Guidelines
VLSI Research does not market to children, and does not knowingly collect information from children on our website. All data collected or viewable at our website is for the purposes of industrial market research. While it is not designed for specific use by children we recognize that students may connect to it at times. We encourage students to get their parent’s permission before giving any personal information online. If the purpose is for a school project we also encourage the students to provide us only with their first name, grade and state or country.
