VLSI shows how Customer Satisfaction matters …
when it comes to building brand and market share
VLSIresearch’s Equipment & Emerging Markets Chip Insider™ showed that Customer Satisfaction does matter. It showed that ASML and Varian built their Customer Satisfaction reputation, Market Share followed. Both ASML and Varian were able to reach ~80% share with a superior customer satisfaction tail wind. These are examples of where dominant market share would not have been possible without great customer satisfaction. High CS Enabled ASML’s Market Share. Varian built its Brand around High CS. This combined with a technology advantage drove share gains. In both cases, ASML and Varian, clearly show that Customer Satisfaction plays a role in future hotly contested market share battles.
