Semiconductor sales stayed below 2019 levels last week, pointing towards another weak end-of-quarter finish, as the COVID W turns to shift the curve right. Focusing on the memory picture this week: The hot growth in NAND ICs has been cooling, with the 13Wk MA growth for 3Q20/3Q19 dipping to 23%. It remains the hottest segment, followed by DRAMs. Growth in Auto, Logic, and Analog & Power ICs all improved last week.

Semiconductor Supply & Demand held at tight as the weather cooled. Shifts favored memory, as both DRAM and NAND jumped up a notch. It punished OSAT, which was slammed down two full notches. Conditions in IDM, Foundry, and Analog & Power stabilized the overall picture.

The Electronics Price Index driver continues to be Notebooks and Consumer Electronics, while Mobile is the dead weight holding it down.
