Semiconductor sales soared last week to record levels for the season, almost eclipsing this summer's peak. The weather remained warm with sectors mixed in direction. OSAT, SoC, and Mobile was hotter, while Auto, IoT, and Analog & Power cooled.

IC Highlights: Focusing on the NAND picture this week: Sales have pulled out of their 3Q slump, although headwinds remain high compared to 2019. They continue to be the strongest market in terms of 13-week MAs. Last week, growth slowed for DRAM, NAND, Logic, Auto, and Analog & Power.

The 4Q20 Nowcast for Semiconductor Supply/Demand held in a Tight seller's market, while OSATs moved up a notch. For the week, DRAM conditions deteriorated significantly. Foundries held at Shortage levels for a third week, while NAND, IDM, OSAT, and Analog & Power were unchanged.
