    VLSI's Semiconductor Analytics report

Semiconductor sales walked last week to 2018 levels, while staying above Q2. IC Highlights: Focusing on the DRAM picture this week: Sales have plateaued since July, though growth remains high with sales well above 2019. Last week, DRAM made the largest gain, followed by Analog & Power. Growth dropped for NAND and Auto while sliding for Logic.

The IC Weather Report: The weather remained warm with sectors mixed in direction. The biggest changes were cooling in IoT and Analog & Power as OSATs warmed. IC Prices came under pressure as the 14-week string of rising y/y growth was broken.

Semiconductor Supply & Demand: The 4Q20 Nowcast held at Tight, while OSATs moved up a notch. For the week, DRAM conditions deteriorated significantly. Foundries held at Shortage levels for a second week, while NAND, IDM, OSAT, and Analog & Power were unchanged.

Electronics Prices rose with strength in Smartphones and Consumer.
