Semiconductor sales continued to run at +20% y/y growth rates last week, as capacity constraints and spot shortages continued to ripple through. The IC weather was warm and rose 2°F.

Focusing on Auto ICs this week, the 13-week MA is declining as spot shortages and production cuts slow total IC buying. Segment Growth remains highest in Analog & Power, followed by NAND, Logic, and DRAM.

IC Wafer Fab Production continued to rise, with production levels reaching 2M 300mm equivalents-per-week, well above 2020 levels.

The Supply/Demand status continued to tighten last week, with the 1Q21 NowCast for Analog and Power rising to Tight. For the week, IDMs rose to Shortage conditions. DRAM, NAND, OSAT, and Foundry tightened slightly.

Electronics' Prices are declining though weakness has abated in recent weeks.
