    VLSI's Semiconductor Analytics report

Semiconductor sales turned up, holding to an 11-week run of double-digit gains over the last year. W/Q growth was slightly negative. Focusing on NAND, Y/Y growth MA's have improved significantly from March lows and are in solid double-digit territory halfway through the quarter. Sales are running at healthy levels and are not over-saturated as seen in 2018. Last week, Auto had another surge in Y/Y growth that was well over what occurred in Logic, DRAM, and Analog & Power.

The IC weather was cooler, with a 1°F slide for the week. IC Wafer Fab Production levels rose as they continued to run well above 2020 levels.

VLSI's IC Supply/Demand indices' Tight conditions held with DRAM rising a notch. The 3Q NowCast for Analog & Power slipped out of Shortage to Tight. IDM and OSAT tightened. Foundry and NAND loosened, while the shortage in Auto ICs continued to ease.

Electronics' Prices were down again with seasonal weakness in notebooks and smartphones.
