VLSI's Semiconductor Analytics report Semiconductor sales surged another 24% last week, turning the WAHE's W inversion up, as IC sales blew past 2018 levels last week. Logic ICs have had a reasonably strong year so far, besting 2019 in most weeks. But like the others it saw a countercyclical dip at the end of Q2. The 3Q20 Nowcast for Memory continues to show the strongest growth, but this is primarily due to 2019 being so bad. Auto has shown significant improvement over the last 4 weeks. The Semiconductor Supply-Demand stayed Tight, though DRAM loosened up. NAND, IDM, Foundry, OSAT, and Analog & Power were unchanged.
