    Summaries:
IEDM 2020: What it said about the most important drivers of the semiconductor supply chain. By this, I mean where the focus was at IBM, Intel, GlobalFoundries, Samsung, and TSMC. In general, the Logic focus on Gate-All-Around (GAA), 3D-Integration, mmWave, new embedded memory, interconnect, and a rich amount of DCTO content. The GAA papers showed an interesting path for vertical integration of logic, which will drive density like we've seen in 3D NAND.

The Auto IC Shortage and the last TCI Graphics: Blindsided by this week's breaking news that Auto companies were shutting down factories because of a lack of semiconductors. The tsunami effect of the deep sea COVID earthquake on Automotive IC sales was first published in Semiconductor Analytics and as ChipChirpsTM back in October. Auto IC market share peaked in the last week of December, 2019. This share fell 2/3rds by the week of 8 May 2020 (2.05), while auto sales grew. The effect of this is laid out below, along with where the blame should lie in the Auto supply chain.
