    Ending the year on a strong footing
    • Order activity for semiconductor equipment continued to heat up, jumping past 83 degrees to a new high for the year
    • All segments moved higher with Memory overtaking Foundry for the hottest segment
    • Equipment suppliers are ending the year with a lot of positive momentum and feeling more optimistic about the year ahead
    • Recovery in memory spending is underway, it kicked off with NAND this year
    • DRAM is expected to take center stage next year as spending has been down for two consecutive years
    • Advanced Logic and Foundry spending is expected to remain steady in 2021 after hitting an all-time high this year, driven by the 5nm node
    • VLSI's Chip Price Performance Index fell slightly
      • DRAM declined
      • NAND declined
      • MPUs declined
    • Electronics sales have been on the mend in 2H20
