Order activity for semiconductor equipment continued to heat up, jumping by another point to a sizzling 100 degrees
All segments edged higher with SOC Computing leading the way at 103 degrees
Intel's CapEx hike-over $5B from last year's level-added more fuel to an already hot equipment market
The CapEx hike from Intel will bump the industry CapEx to $133B for 2021, a whopping 22% increase from the previous year
This change is in line with our Equipment forecast, which last month was upgraded to 21%
The visibility horizon for equipment suppliers is extending beyond this year with delivery and equipment availability being the only issues.
VLSI's Chip Price Performance took a breather
DRAM fell
NAND declined
MPUs increased
