    Orders are flitting like butterflies
    • Order activity for semiconductor equipment continued to edge higher, jumping above 101 degrees
    • Although the momentum has slowed a bit in the last few weeks, it's really hot out there with the majority of segments hovering in the triple-digit territory
    • The high level of activity will translate into strong revenue growth for equipment suppliers in 2021
    • The March data from the Taiwanese manufacturers was strong, though it did show a bit of a pullback from the previous months
    • TSMC's revenues in March increased 14% on yearly basis, nearly the same rate as February but below January's 22% clip
    • Subcons' sales in March rose 9% yearly, slower than the 25% clip recorded in the previous four months
    • VLSI's Chip Price Performance heated up
      • DRAM fell
      • NAND declined
      • MPUs increased
    • Utilization rates are soaring across the board
