In little more than a year, Tom Caulfield has sculpted GLOBALFOUNDRIES into a leaner organization, as he got the company's house in order. Now that they are cash flow positive, Tom’s ready to remake the way that semiconductor foundry services are presented to customers, redefining major categories by stepping away from the classical foundry business model of nodes and technologies in order to create platforms oriented towards the markets that a fabless client is designing to. This makes it easier for GF to align to their customers needs, while stripping away the complexity of foundry options so a fabless designer can get on with it.
