IC Inventory Levels continue to climb

IC Inventory Levels continued to climb in the second quarter. VLSIresearch reported Die bank inventories remain elevated due to weak demand and continued production. Inventories at OEM electronics makers is lower than the same period in 2015, indicating continued cautiousness on their part as the industry rolls into the summer.

IC Inventory Levels: chart gives rolling averages for semiconductor integrated circuit inventories held at OEMs, in Die Banks, and the total Inventory-to-Billing Ratio. Source data is published monthly in the Chip Insider™ Graphics report.
